A ribbon on the scale of the city able to heal an urban wound in the heart of Rome, connecting the altitudes of the archaeological excavations, the city and a new public space to the rooftop viewpoint.
The project involves the construction, also partially with assemblies of elements on site, of seven private single-family units positioned on the flat roof of an existing building, with different orientations. Along the entire perimeter of the roofing lot, the formation of a parapet higher than one meter and eighty centimeters will define the boundary and view towards the city, designing a large common patio space among the small new buildings. There are also seating and essences in the common areas in front of the entrances to the houses Included, positioned at the entrances of the ground floor, garage, private cellars and common areas.
The architecture of all the residences is typical and recognizable of the house with a double pitched roof, with different eaves and ridge heights depending on the type of interior Three types of project, with different sizes with the possibility of a private terrace on the floor: from two-room apartments to three-room apartments and a four-room apartment. Some units are equipped with an internal staircase for access to a particular living room above the sleeping area, with independent aerial lighting. The other houses have predispositions for any structures at the height. The residences provide for delivery to the finish.
The use of eco-friendly and lightweight materials such as wood – for the interior finishes, but also structural – together with the clinker cladding of cobalt blue and emerald green glazed tiles (reminiscent of the Milanese tradition of the houses of the Milanese suburbs of the 1970s, also present in Nettle), will give particular strength to the character of the project.
Dal recupero dei sottotetti degli anni ‘90, alle serre abitative, alle nuove case sui tetti di oggi. A milano proviamo anche noi a sperimentare un nuovo trend internazionale – da berlino a NYC, da Amsterdam a londra – di ricerca per nuove soluzioni dell’abitare contemporaneo. Architetture leggere ed ecofriendly, nate per formare veri e propri piccoli villaggi in quota, con ritmi e vita particolarmente affascinanti con uno sguardo nuovo e diverso sulla città. Il progetto prevede la costruzione, anche parzialmente con assemblaggi di elementi in loco, di sette unità private unifamiliari posizionate in copertura piana di una edifico esistente, con orientamenti diversi. Lungo tutto il perimetro del lotto di copertura, la formazione di un parapetto di altezza superiore al metro e ottanta centimetri definirà confine e vista verso la città, disegnando uno spazio a grande patio comune tra i piccoli nuovi edifici. Previste inoltre sedute ed essenze negli spazi comuni antistanti gli ingressi alle abitazioni In dotazione, posizionati agli ingressi del piano terra, box auto, cantine private e locali comuni. L’architettura di tutte la residenze è quella tipica e riconoscibile della casa con tetto a doppia falda, con altezze di gronda e di colmo diverse a seconda delle tipologie interne Tre i tipi di progetto, con tagli di metrature diverse con possibilità di terrazzo privato al piano: dai bilocali, ai trilocali e a un quadrilocale. Alcune unità sono dotate di scala interna per accesso ad una particolare camera abitabile soprastante la zona notte, con aereoilluminazione indipendente. Le altre abitazione hanno invece predisposizioni per eventuali strutture soppalcate in quota. Le residenze prevedono la consegna al finito. L’uso di materiali ecocompatibili e leggeri come il legno – per le finiture degli interni, ma anche strutturale – unitamente ai rivestimenti in piastrelle di clinker smaltato di colore blu cobalto e verde smeraldo (che richiamano la tradizione milanese delle case della periferia milanese anni ‘70, presenti anche in Ortica), daranno particolare forza al carattere dell’intervento.
